Well, it's kinda embarrasing to post a journal entry after eleven months, but I kind of felt I needed to come back here. It's been a rough year, and because of it's activity, I could not concentrate on the more sensitive issues, like love or my writing. I'm studying Civil Engineering right now, and up to now I could study 5 of the 7 subjects of Year 1, so after burning my eyes reading about interesting mathematical matters (of which I'm deeply tired right now) I can come back and develop myself as an artist, which was the condition for my engineering studies: Preserve myself as an artist. I'd forgotten how pleasurable, fulfilling and heartwarming was to simply remember that you can always have someone to hug, to feel his or her heat, to know that you're not alone in the struggle of life. As I came back from the cinema today, and had such a nice time, I shed a tear of two thinking about this. Today I also felt that I genuinely have faith in humanity. I know we're bold enough to go against ourselves, and that's enough for me. Don't think that I'm emotionally unstable or something, just barely more reflexing than usual. And faithful.
